Sarah Chittleburgh 1819 Reproduction Sampler by Haystack Stitching

Sarah Chittleburgh, 1819 – Norfolk Sampler from the Feller Collection 

This Norfolk Sampler has a number of bands that are stitched both over 1 and over 2 threads.  It is mainly worked in cross stitch with two bands of eyelets.  The samplers has a single-line border stitched in turquoise stem stitch, very unusual.  The original is stitched on 32ct but the model is being worked on 40ct.
