Description
Inspired by a piece of filet lace, the model was stitched on 36 count Silkweaver linen in the colour Crushed Cranberries. The project is stitched using a "main" colour of thicker thread and full X's and an "accent" colour of thinner thread and tent stitches. Stitch with DMC Floche in 712, for the thicker thread and one strand of DMC 712 floss for the thinner thread (one skein is more than enough). Instead of the floche, you could stitch the "main" colour using two strands of thread, in which case you would need 16-18 skeins for this project.
